Introduction

Hey everyone,

There's someone we'd like you to meet.

Baby-19wk-thumb2-blog
19 weeks

This is our daughter, sucking her thumb. For most of the ultrasound, she wasn't very cooperative, and we thought we wouldn't get a good look. But right at the end she got really active, started doing some interpretive dance, and we got a very good view.

It's a girl!

Yay! I was wrong, but I'm glad that you were able to find out since you wanted to! I was afraid that Cam would be uncooperative, but we lucked out, too. Love the ultrasound picture...isn't it fun to see them?!

Mommy says you didn't "learn" how to such your thumb until you were 3 months old. Of course, my granddaughter is precocious!!

My son was very uncooperative during my ultra sound at 19 weeks that we had to do it 4 times that day, because they couldnt get to his heart. They needed to measure it, and he just simply wouldn't turn around. He wasn't shy to spread his legs wide open though!

Congrats on the baby girl! (That's what I was secretly hoping for first, but I'm sooo happy with my baby boy!)

In three pregnancies, I only had one ultrasound -- I suppose one could say that's a good thing, but I would have LOVED to have seen my girls dancing!!!
; )

Congratulations!
