Yep, so I've been working on Bob. That's the progress (done with the decreases, almost to the increases). We went on a long car trip this weekend, and there's just nothing like mindless stockinette-in-the-round to make the miles fly by! And not too mindless, thanks to the decreases.
AND, because I couldn't have just one WIP, and because I bought some fabulous ribbon yarn at ArtFibers in San Francisco last week (it was a finished-thesis treat!), I had to start a new project, too:
(and those are the feet of Linus, my ever-helpful photo assistant)
I have to organize my knitting yarn soon, to decide what I want to take with me on my move (to DC, in less than a week now!), and what stays here in CA with my husband and the rest of the stuff... it's a hard decision! The Ribbie Cardie is now going to be put off, though, since there's talk of a knit-along in mid-August... yippee!!

Posted by: Teresa on May 19, 2003 05:01 PMI am also working on pattern #5 from the FCEK -- what brand of yarn is that ribbon you are using? I like the color very much. I am using the AY Cinema in a fuchsia shade that is coming out nicely --- but goodness save me from 15 inches of stockingette stitch! :D
Posted by: Cyndilou on May 20, 2003 05:02 AMI like that tank from FCEK. It's on my long list of things to do! I still have to finish my BNS, though. I feel like I never get to knit anymore!
Posted by: Jen M on May 20, 2003 06:04 AMWow Sarah! Both projects look great! I'm heading up to SF next weekend, and I'm definitely stopping by Art Fibers! You've inspired me...
Posted by: shannon on May 20, 2003 06:27 AMHi Sarah!
Are you up for getting together soon after my exam?? I'd love to meet you and have a celebratory toast to the both of us!
-Stefanie.

Thanks!
