Hmm, what's that? Is it a heel? Why by golly, it sure is!
Last night I turned the heel and now I'm most of the way down the instep - about an inch to go before starting the toe. Tonight is knitting night, so I'm sure I'll finish this one... maybe even start the second!
This is my first-ever sock, but Theresa's directions were fantastic - blind faith paid off! I kept looking back at the heel and showing it to Dan - "Isn't it cool? You see where it turned? Isn't it cool?" I'm lucky to have a husband that humors me. :)
Husband's that "humor" you are worth a lot....of course that's just my opinion :-)

And you really turned a heel this soon in knitting???? Your Aunt Nonnie would be impressed. She said she would never turn another heel as long as she lived if she had her way about it!!
