and Mom is fine. She's sitting here next to me, as a matter of fact, visiting. She's... um... encouraging me to post on the blog. Yes, encouraging, that's it.
We've had a fun three days of visiting. Some promoting the economy (via consumerism), including a new local yarn store and the purchase of a ball gown for a fancy event in a few weeks, some cleaning/organizing around the house, a visit to the orchid show and sale at the National Arboretum, some thrift store shopping, felting of knitted things, work on the Renaissance Fest costume for next weekend, and so much more. Too bad she has to go home tomorrow, or the whole house would be organized!
Yep, we've been keeping busy around here! Check back in from time to time - the updates will be sporadic, but I'll keep them coming. If I get a chance I'll post some Arboretum pictures in the next few days...
